Ultrasonic sealing is used in those cases where only one or a few points on the blisters have to be sealed. The blisters are sandwiched within special equipment and a low-amplitude acoustic pulse is emitted. The ultrasonic energy of the pulse melts the contact points between the plastic parts, creating a very strong seal.
