There are various printing techniques that can be used for the production of your blister packaging. The most common printing technique used for the production of blister cards is sheet fed offset. In this technology individual sheets are passed at high speed through a set of printing towers with the purpose of applying various colours on the sheet. At the end of an offset press the sheets are dried and stacked. A large variety of ink types and colours can be printed, onto numerous different substrates such as cardboard and plastic. Inks are cured by using ultraviolet light (UV) or Infrared heat (IR) drying.
For special applications roll-to-roll offset or “flexo” printing is used for the production of directly printed, 3D thermoformed blisters. To maintain a consistent, high-quality standard, Ecobliss uses state-of-the-art offset printing equipment for the production of your blister cards and printed blisters.
