Fold Over Blisters

100% visible.

Fold-over blisters are basically a single blister designed with a hinge in the middle, often used in combination with an internal blister and/or a printed insert card. But depending on your needs, Ecobliss can create blisters with 1, 2 or 3 fold lines.
Take an industry such as automotive, lighting, stationery, or electronics and you’ll find fold-over blisters used in packaging any product you can imagine. That’s no surprise, because blisters themselves are a unique, self-selling concept. There’s no better way to present your product than to make it 100% visible on the shelf, while being fully protected by the transparent plastic blister. Fold-over blisters can be produced in any style, size or shape. Combined with a printed blister card the fold-over blister supports the promotion of your products and gives the customer all the necessary product information.

Click-and-close blister.

Perhaps your need is for a click-and-close blister (also called clamshell): a fold-over blister which closes by pressing the two blister panels together until they close with a confirming “click”! The advantage of this feature is that in the case where the product has to be demonstrated in the store, the packaging can be easily opened and then reclosed. Where theft resistance is required, Ecobliss offers folding blisters which can be sealed using heat, HF or RF sealing techniques.

Possibilities.

To serve your functional needs, or to achieve the right look and feel, allow Ecobliss to create fold-over blisters from transparent or opaque material, and in almost any color, including metallic silver and gold. We can produce blisters with interesting textures, such as a soft, cloth-feel surface (flocked). Fold-over blisters can even be made in 3D shapes with 3D printing, for a truly eye-catching effect.

Ecobliss offers a wide variety of standard fold-over blisters, and we are happy to develop and produce for you, a fit-to-purpose, custom-designed fold-over blister packaging solution. Invite us onto your design team, or let us do the heavy-lifting for you – it’s your choice.
